Connor Goes Swimming

After coming this close to beating my computer to pieces while trying to learn how to use the editing software that came with it, I have finally completed Connor's swimming movie. It's weird: I can use professional editing equipment with relative ease, but you give me the no-frills stuff and it takes hours. Anyway, I got a little carried away with the music and titles, so you've been warned.

This party happened in the common area of our neighborhood this past Sunday. We had a blast. It's nice to have neighbors who have kids roughly the same age as Connor, as it makes social gatherings like this more fun (and it keeps us from suffering new parent isolation). Anyway, on to the show...

Smiling, on camera, finally!

Connor smiles quite frequently now. However, we've wasted what seems like hours of video trying to get some proof of it. Here, we have our first documented smiles. Please disregard the obnoxious, high-pitched parents trying to elicit these smiles.

We created another quick slideshow of recent Connor pictures. Nearly all of these were taken within the last two weeks. (Oscar requested that he be included in the slideshow as well...). More to come soon.

One Month Old!

Hello All!

Connor was one month old yesterday! We can't believe it. She is getting so big. I meant it! I weighed myself and then added her to the scale and my weight increased 10 pounds! Justin and I measured her this morning and she measured 22 inces! We will find out officially Monday and keep you posted.

We are going to take a video tomorrow morning that will have her cooing and smiling. We promise! In the morning is when she is most likely to perform. This morning was so cute watching her.

Easter was great and we hope that is was a nice day for all of you. Justin and I went to my parent's house and enjoyed some relaxation. Connor attended her first Mass and was blessed by the priest. It was sweet.

My mom bought Connor her first Easter dress and then purchased the outfit above so she could be be comfortable after Mass. It was so cute and comfy!

Connor's First Two Weeks
