Merry Christmas! (2014)

We had such a great time celebrating our traditions and remembering just how important our family is. Our family is close, we will do anything for one another and we have such a damn good time together. Pictures illustrate what I would have attempted a full story:

Connor has been just too fast for us. She's on the move and we have yet to get a singular picture with her! Here's a Whit and Connor with their favorite Grammy.

I am so thankful I captured this picture. This will be framed.

My mom loves Grammy so much. There is so much history with them, so many stories.

Justin and Dad being silly, as usual!

This is how I remember egg nog growing up. Plane and simple, probably since I was about eight. I was able to "take a sip". I just enlightened Justin. Take note :)

Christmas Eve 2014

We started with Mass. A great service. I love family tradition.

Connor was a sheep this year. She did great! Very brave.

Putting out cookies for Santa, writing a letter and not forgetting about the hard working reindeer!

Biff sent the kids Christmas pjs!

Sick Little Girl and Boy

Cuddling with my little girl.  Have to get her better so she can go to her Christmas party at school!

Whit is napping, he's been up since 4:10 am :(

Santa Comes to Town

We love our community. They offer so much for our kids and either free or very little cost.

We got to see Santa!

We made crafts and played outside:

And  somebody got to meet Anna and Elsa!

I love this time of year. We spend a lot of time with family and friends celebrating what we are thankful for and enjoying each other. Laughter is a huge part of this time of year too and it makes my heart smile. Two whole weeks off with my awesome children and amazing family, recipe for happiness.

Thanksgiving in Maggie Valley

The kids had an absolute blast. They were spoiled with love from Meme and Gangy. They both saw snow and were able to visit cousins. We went on nature hikes, watched for birds and made snow angels. Connor won't ever forget her time with her Meme and Gangy.

              My toes hurt mommy!

We went to thanksgiving lunch.

We had a great time with our family. Happy Thanksgiving!

I am SO sad I am missing this:

But thankful Daddy could be there to cheer our little pilgrim girl on!

My Tiny Tornado

This little ham weighs in at 23.4 pounds (67th%)! Dr. Loventhal says he's doing great! He's starting to talk, can already walk and is getting so much better at following directions. "Don't throw that away, Whit!" Is something he hears at least four time a day.

He says:
Hey there
Tickletickletickletickle
Momma
Hi Daddy
BaRa for Connor
Ba bye
Uh oh

He can find his toes and when you ask him to smell his breath he opens his mouth really wide and puts it up to your nose

He absolutely adores Connor and she knows just the right things to do to make him barrel laugh.

His height is the 26th% and of course his head is in the 90th%. He's definitely a Horton :)

I love you so much. Thank you for making me smile and laugh every single day.

My Happiness...

...is my family. These two bring joy and laughter to my face every single day. It's not easy being a momma but I couldn't imagine any other title I would rather have.

She's is simply a nut! Intelligent, witty and definitely a pleaser. This silly little girl is doing great in kindergarten and grasping the roll of big sister "fairly" easily. Love you, Connor Bug!

He is a ham, a smiler and can make anyone feel important. Smiles a smile that will make you feel on top of the world. I love being his Momma.

My children are my heart. My husband is my heart and there is NO other way I would rather spend each of my days, being the best wife I can be and the most caring and selfless mother too.

I wish everyone could feel as important and loved as I do.
