Graduating

Our five month old can sit with us at dinner now! We used to put him in his bouncy seat but he's doing so much better at sitting up so we decided to try it. I think he likes to see everyone, to be a part of our conversation. He's such a sweet sweet boy. Will make you smile just looking at him. He sure melts my heart. Love him!

Whit is Five Months Old!

Of course I can't believe it. I'm kind of sad too. I do,however, love that he is becoming more aware of his family and beginning to do more with us AWAKE!

You are in size 2 diapers

Wearing size 3-6 month clothing

No solids yet. We've tried a couple times but will probably just wait until you are six months old, unless you need them to help fill your belly

Can roll over from front to back and working on back to front

Sleeps on tummy (officially as of two days ago) 

You are going through a phase where baths aren't your favorite thing to do (I'm pretty sure it's because of your cold and you lying down on your back is just not comfortable right now). But I can't wait until you sit up, then you and Sissy can bathe together! Next month!

You smile all the time and surprise us when you laugh.

You are our true love. Our family would not be the same without you.

I'm Five and I'll Prove it!

There are so many different emotions running through me. Last night as I watched you sleep on our floor (that's where the birthday girl chose ;)) 

I thought about the first time I met you. It should have felt like we were best friends, instead we were strangers with a lot of catching up to do. The bond between mother and child is what I felt that day, and something I will never forget.

You are the reason I became a Mommy and you remind me so often why I always wanted to be a Mommy. We are so very proud of you and are fulfilled with excitement and joy in our hearts. We love you so much and cannot wait to watch you grow.

Happy 5th Birthday, little girl! We can't wait to celebrate with you in Disney World!

Saint Patrick's Day

I love my kiddos. Love how Whit will just giggle at Connor and how Connor will intentionally make him smile. She wants his first word to be "Sissy." She's so sweet to him. 

Grandma and Grandpa sent Connor and Whit $1 each for Saint Patrick's Day! Connor loves getting mail and I love reading the cards to her. I'm sure Whit is going to love to get mail too!

Can you believe my baby girl will be five tomorrow? I am in shock but so happy for her. Five is going to be her best year yet!

Whit Rolls Over

Unfortunately, his teacher didn't deem it important enough to let us know the day it happened so we are saying Whit officially rolled over during the week of 3/10-3/14. Woop! Now he's a roller. We love him so much! 

We've tried cereal twice but not consistently. Probably will try it again next month (when he's five months). Because he is still exclusively breastfed, I don't feel a necessity to push solids just yet, either that or I'm holding into his infancy ;)
