My Cousin Rachel!

Almost six months old and as precious as can be!

After this visit, C asked if she could be a big sister. Oh how sweet!

Emily Graduates and is on her way to UGA!

We traveled down to Columbus to celebrate my cousin, Emily. She graduated and is headed to Athens in the fall. We are super excited for her accomplishment and also that she chose Georgia to continue her education!

She is also going to be one of the newest members of the redcoat band!

Congratulations, Emily!

First Day of Summer?

Maybe...

Probably...

Yes definitely...

My First Bike Ride

I am 3 and learning how to ride my bike! If yesterday is any indication of how the summer will be, then it is going to be so much fun!

A Little bit of Love

Connor and I went to the pool yesterday with Jen and Reagan. This hug lasted at least 45 seconds. She did not want to leave Aunt Jen!

Matthew

Wow. He is all over the place. And he doesn't stop moving until he is sleeping. He is so fun to watch, or should I say chase? We love this little guy so much.

To Hawaii and Back

I went to pick c up from school and they had not done their luau festivities. So I stayed and soaked the organized chaos in. I realized today that it takes a special person to teach 3-4 year olds. Sheesh!

After having their Hawaiian snack we ventured to the village for some dancing and game playing. Connor had a blast (although you can't tell in some of the pictures) and I had a bit of a headache while dancing the afternoon away!

Mother's Day 2012

Oh my was my mothers day special. First off, Justin was around all day! It is very rare he is around the whole weekend so he made a point to be this weekend ( that was the only thing I wanted!)

I took a three hour nap. Yes, three hours! The weather was pukey so it was the perfect time to do so.

After we put C down, my honey and I enjoyed braises beef short ribs, rosemary mashed potatoes with a red wine reduction. Sooo yummy.

I didn't take any pictures because I honestly didn't take a shower until around 4. Hehe. Such a wonderful day to sit and think about how lucky I am to have such a wonderful husband and daughter.

Happy Mother's Day!

Fine Motor Skills

So because I am still obsessed with Pinterest, I continue to go everyday. My latest endeavor is finding activities for Connor that concentrate on her fine motor skills. I was NOT surprised to find an overwhelming amount of activities for toddlers/ per schoolers.

A bunch I found was on threading. Whether it was pipe cleaners through a colander or pencils through man made holes in card stock, they were all useful in helping me to expand my knowledge on this skill.

I also love the fact that Pinterest provides projects/ activities that can all be created at home!

She enjoyed her "project" and so did I!
