Happy Birthday, Aunt Cheryll!

Today is Aunt Cheryll's birthday and unfortunately we are unable to make the planned dinner festivities. :(  I have a PTA meeting and it is Justin's late night at school so what we did was invite her over yesterday to celebrate!

We had chicken paillard with fresh spinach and a lemon vinaigrette.  It was DELICIOUS!

And we couldn't forget about singing...

We love you Aunt Cheryll.  Thanks for coming and spending the day with us!

Gym Joeys

We started Connor with gymnastics at the YMCA yesterday.  I was really excited because she enjoyed the Little Gym last summer so much.  She loved it.  It is structured entirely different then the Little Gym. It focuses on strictly gymnastics instead of singing, dancing playing with balls and a little gymnastics mixed in.

She absolutely loved the tumbling tramp.  The were supposed to do all different jumps.  We tried... but instead just ran down it.

They also have a vault made for little people.  She runs down "jumps" on the springboard and then ends with a forward roll down the cheese wedge.
We also rotated to the floor where we traveled over and under mats and also rolled backwards over the mat.

She was pretty good at walking on the beam.  She climbed up all by herself and stood up and was "ready Mommy."  She walked forward, backward and sideways and even forward on her toes.  All assisted, of course!

Can't wait until next week!

Matthew Henry Cason

I went to Kerri's house to spend the night and give her some help with Matthew.  I am so glad I did because I was able to spend time with my precious nephew!  He is such a cutie.  It seems as if he has third-child syndrome which is great because he extremely laid back, only really cries when he is hungry and loves to sit and chill.  He has started cooing which is cute and the girls have done really well adjusting too.

I think he is a mix of both girls.  He has their noses but the shape of his face is different (rounder).  His hair is a really pretty auburn and I hope it stays that way.  I have a weak spot for red-headed children. :)

Well, there he is!  Matthew Henry.  I can't wait to see him again because I know that he is going to have changed so much.  We love having a nephew and I know my parents love the fact that they have a grandson.

Kangazoom Fun!

We got a groupon for Kangazoom that was super-cheap!  So, what we have been doing is inviting friends to go jump with us  and we pay their way in ($2.50 a child).  Connor enjoys herself and it is perfect for rainy or cold days when we MUST get out of the house.

Connor and Caroline:

The funny thing is that these are two seperate days that we went to play with different friends and we are wearing the same outfit!  Funny, huh?  Below we are pictures with Kaitlyn and Kylie, a friend of mine from Saint Catherine's.  Both days were so fun.  We will definitely do the groupon thing again for Kangazoom.  We got our monies worth, for sure.
