Connor finally notices Oscar

I was wondering when it was going to happen. Just the other day Connor could not take her eyes off of Oscar. It was so funny. He was behind her at one point and she turned her head around and stared at him for five minutes. It was making my neck hurt!

Everything else has been pretty plain and simple here. I am back to work and am actually enjoying it and Justin is loving being a stay-at-home daddy. He will do this for at least the next two months until his unemployment checks stop coming. We will then re-evaluate the situation. I hope that it works out that he can continue to stay home with her because it leaves me peaceful at work to know that she is either with her daddy or grandma and grandpa. Speaking of them! They have been married 38 years yesterday! It is so neat and wonderful to see them after being together for SOOOO long! True love! hehe.

There is one picture below of Connor in her exersaucer. I am posting this one because if you look at the orange butterfly and notice how tight she is holding it. Right before I took the picture, she had a meltdown because she got very angry with the butterfly. It isn't long enough for her to put the whole thing into her mouth. So, unfortunately, we can only keep her in the thing for 5 to 6 minutes before she gets mad at the stupid butterfly. I can't figure out how to take the darn thing off. She is screeching right now as I am typing. I only have about a minute to finish this post and upload a couple of pictures! I will post soon!

I know it has been a while and I apologize but with the new school year and grad school it has kept me busy!

Connor's Last Play date

Because Monica and I are going back to work this week, we had to have our last play date of the summer. It was great catching up on mommyhood. The girls are getting to be a lot more alert and they make each other smile! We only took one picture from our play date because we were spending all our time talking!

When I start work tomorrow Justin will be staying home with Connor three days a week and my mom will be keeping her the other two. I am so thankful that this is happening. It will definitely help my transition back to work. Justin is excited about being a stay-at-home dad, at least for the next nine weeks! We will have to reconfigure things after his unemployment runs up. Until then...
