Food Truck Tuesdays

Every Tuesday Smyrna holds a community festival where about 10 food trucks and a local band come to Taylor/ Brawner park. The playground is huge, food is delicious and friends make it so special.

Summertime with My Cousins

This summer, Kerri, Mom and I were able to do a lot with the kids. Dad was also able to meet us on a couple of occasions as well which always makes everything more fun!

Because I am uploading from my IPad, it doesn't allow me to organize my photos (or maybe I just haven't learned yet) so they are probably going to be in random order... another reason I do not like the Blogger ap. Anyway, we were able to take the kids to Fernbank, the YMCA pool, the fountains at Centennial Park and also the Children's Museum. Enjoy the pictures, in random order, of course!

Meat Mountain

Jon and Stephanie host Meat Mountain every year and it is so yummy. Every type of protein you could imagine, smoked to perfection. It was so hot and muggy that I only took a couple of pictures. Everybody was so nasty an sweaty so I kept the adults off of my post.

My Dreams

Connor has been having nightmares and is now scared of monsters. It has been extremely difficult putting her down at night ( one night took me 3 hours). I really liked the idea of a dream catcher so we made one. It is really cute and she had fun making if it al hopefully it will work wonders!

Atlanta with My Cousins!

First the Children's Museum and then off to run through the fountains at Centennial Park! It was a great day with family. We are extremely thankful to have this time over the summer so that we can get together for opportunities like this! Can't wait until tomorrow when we go to the pool with our cousins. And, they are spending the night!

Hodges Fun X2!

When we get together with the Hodges clan, it is nothing but fun. The kids have a blast and the parents get the chance to catch up! I would love for Justin to get a job at UGA.

And my husband just brought me a sample of Pliny the Elder. Doesn't get much better than this!

Dumpster Divin'

This is now the 2nd time I have retrieved a sand and water table from our neighbor's garbage. The latest treasure is so much better than the last. I actually brought this to the back deck instead of putting it on the side of the house for the rest of the neighborhood. Whoop!

Pool Time with Friends

Each summer ( I didn't make it last summer) Kerri, Renee, Monica and I go to Renee's mom's pool with the kiddos! "it's all fun and games until someone poops in the kiddie play area!" I intended on getting more pictures but we wound up spending majority of our time in the big pool. Hehe.

Either way, we all had a great time playing, chatting and spending time with one another. Until next July!
