Today, Connor and I went to see Monica and Caroline. It is always so cool to get the girls together because they are only eight weeks apart so we love to chat about what they are doing and how they are growing. Today we got to go to the pool and the girls had a blast! Connor just loved walking in the water and playing with Caroline and all their water toys. Caroline is such a cutie and it was such a pleasure to see her (and Monnie) today. Take a look!
The girls would fill and dump, fill and dump their buckets and bottles. This was the first time that they really played together.
In the last post, I commented on Connor's new love for climbing. Well, she got into this chair all by herself. My little girl is growing so fast!
Two tired girls when it was all said and done...
We can't wait to see them in a couple of weeks!
(Make sure you check the previous posts. I have been without my camera for two weeks now and had to catch up!)

Take a Look Outside
Connor loves to look outside her window at what is going on. Today, she wanted to have her snack while watching the landscapers cut the lawn. So we did.
She climbs on everything! That being said, she has a new found love for her pink glider. She has also gotten a lot better at putting money into her piggy banks. It is neat watching her get the coins in and her surprised look afterward.

Grandma's house is so Much Fun

We got to spend some time at Grandma's house! Connor loves being there and I love resting! Here are a couple of pics of the little girl in action.
I was talking to my mom about how much I love going to her house because it forces me to relax. Justin and I are happy that Connor likes to go there because we wound up spending a lot of time there this past school year. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!

The Picture Lady
The picture lady is finally back in business! I have been without my camera for so long and finally am back. I was holding out on a another charger because I was determined to find the one I lost (this is now my third charger). Justin is tired of me losing my chargers so I will be sure to keep up with this one. :)
It is funny too because once my battery was charged I started snapping pictures and Connor's face was PRICELESS! Kind of like, mom. again? Pictures are to come!

An End a Wonderful Mountain Trip
Today, Meme and I took Connor to Hands On Children's Museum in Hendersonville. It was great. It has everything, if not more, than Imagine It in Atlanta. It was also only $5 per person as opposed $15 in Atlanta. Anyway, we had a great time and will definitely go again next time we visit Justin's parents. I took a couple of pictures showing how much fun she had.
There was a tree house that she got to climb in and a slide that mommy barely fit in, to slide down. :)
We dressed her up as a ballerina and put her on stage. She was all about it. I think drama is in her future.
They had a nursery with babies and books in it. She chose her baby and read her books, gave her hugs and strolled her around the whole museum.
She got to paint and actually did it all by herself. I just made sure that the paint brushes made it back to the correct paint cups. Not bad for a 14 month old!
We also shopped at the grocery store and and brushed Mr. Monster's teeth. All activities that she loved doing.
Our trip to Maggie Valley was great, as usual. It is sad that we are going home tomorrow and we will miss Meme and Gangy so much!

Adventures of a Mountain Baby...
Connor and Aunt Jo Anne outside Snappys Italian restaurant. It was yummy! Pretty good Italian for a mountain town.
This table was Justin's when he was a little boy. We had to have snack on it today. It didn't last too long. Connor climbed up on it and fell right on her face so we figured we would reintroduce her to the table when she is a little older. :)
Still trying to like the sandbox. Every day we try it again. We assume she will begin to like it when it is time to leave.
The weather has not been the best and we just had to get out of the house. Meme and Gangy have a little playground by their house so I thought we would give it a try. It was great because she loves to pick up rocks and she is pretty fond of the swing. We all walked down and enjoyed the fresh mountain air. Too bad we are leaving in two days. :(
Just in time for a snack. It seems as if she has gone through at least two outfits every day here. I can't even tell you why. She is a true mess but we love her!
