Race for the Cure

Every year we walk in the Susan G. Komen breast cancer walk. This year wa the first year my mom participated. She is usually there to cheer us on.

The experience was so inspirational, especially watching her walk the survivor walk. I love my mom so very much and to witness her strength through such hard times makes me want to be even more like her.

My Toe Nails

We are into painting her own nails... I usually let her paint her toe nails after I paint her fingernails.

It's so funny that the paint all over her feet doesn't seem to bother her either!

Swim Lessons

We are hoping this set of lessons will actually teach Connor how to swim. We shall see! I just refuse to pay the $360 for an eight week course. Too expensive and quite ridiculous too me. Once the ymca pool is open then I will be able to work with her this summer.

Today was the first lesson and she loved it, as usual! I just hope she becomes more comfortable putting her face in the water. That was our issue last summer. She doesn't quite understand that that step is the key to learning that she is missing. I'll keep you posted!

My New Bed

We talked to Connor about buying her a new bed. She has taken that idea and now insists that she pay for it. Ha!

G Day Game

I'm so glad we took Connor to the spring football game. We took Caroline and they had a blast!

Of course we had to search for Emily in the band. This time she wasn't too hard to find!
