I have been without my camera for a while and I guess you can tell! It might seem like a hodgepodge of pictures but, because this blog will serve as Connor's baby book, I will do it anyway.
Connor and Kayla at the pool. We tend to spend a lot of our time with Hector and Laura. It is great because they are great friends and Connor and Kayla play so well together. We actually kept Kayla while her baby sister, Rylie, was being born. It was an interesting day and a half and TOTALLY opened my eyes to the craziness of two children. Not that I wouldn't take on the challenge, just that I would have to realize my house would be crazy most of the time.
Connor loves to plant so "lissa" came and asked Connor to help her plant her peas, green beans, cilantro, basil and something else; I forgot. We will go over to her house and watch them grow. What a great way to learn about the life cycle of a plant! (No, I am not a dork.)
Justin and I bought a pool for me when about four years ago because I was bummed our neighborhood didn't have a community pool. We never took it out because we thought it was too big for the back deck (can you just picture this on our back deck, the whale's tail hanging over the edge and my feet hanging out?) All because I was pitching a fit about not have a pool... Needless to say, we didn't blow it up until yesterday. It is great for Connor and Mommy doesn't have to worry about being embarrassed anymore because I can blame it on Connor for being in it...
That is us in a nut shell the last two weeks. I will be blogging regularly now that I am out for the summer and committed to the best job ever, a stay-at-home mommy!
