Christmas Around the Cul-de-Sac!

This year we held our first annual Christmas party for all our cul-de-sac friends. It was such a great time!  We decided to make it progressive so one couple was not responsible for all 14 of us. It worked out really well! I didn't really know what to expect (nor did ANYONE else) so the outcome was a great time with our great friends.  We will definitely be repeating this next year, maybe making it a tradition!

Our house was the first stop.  Unfortunately we do not have any pictures of the food.  Poor planning on my part.  We served crokue monsieur (a delicious version of a ham sandwich), Moroccan shrimp (Sam and Linda), and Asian short ribs (Hector and Laura).

The next house was Mel and Nick's house.  They served braised short ribs with a squash mash.  Mmmm.  Can it get any better?

While we were noshing with our friends, the girls were at our house with a babysitter .  Here they are watching Frosty the Snowman, the original!  I was so excited when she wanted to watch it over and over again.  It brought back so many memories!

We stopped at Stacy's house for dessert.  Krystal took pictures at Stacey's house of our whole group.  I will post those later because they came out so good. Stacey, Tim Krystal and Reese served brownies and cookies with eggnog martinis in a cocoa-rimmed martini glass.  Delicious... and could be dangerous if you had more then one.  A great time had by all!

Merry Christmas!
