We get to visit with Grammy and Joe!

We went to my parents' house last weekend to celebrate Kerri's birthday. It was fun but I was really bummed because I put Kerri's birthday present in the wrong bag and wound up forgetting it at home. Anyway, we had a great time spending time with family. Connor doesn't get to see Grammy and Papa Joe that often so we wanted to make sure they got plenty of time to visit with her. Grammy was amazed that she could take her paci out of her mouth and put it right back in. I thought it was so cute to see Grammy and Joe with her. They love her so much and I wish that we could see them more often but it doesn't work that easily. Keep in mind that Grammy is 84 and Papa Joe will be 84 this month! They are so precious!

CONNOR IS 6 MONTHS OLD!

I cannot believe it. I know that you hear this all the time but it really does feel like just yesterday our friends and family were bringing us soup and dinner for us to eat when Connor first came home. She is now sitting up, reaching for us and notices when we leave the room (she cries). It has been such an amazing journey witnessing all her milestones and learning her personality. We are doing our best as parents and will continue to work together to provide whatever this precious little girl needs. We just love her so much! Happy 6 month baby girl!

Finally! Laughter, Documented!

Many of you are aware of the fact that Connor laughs quite frequently these days. However, it has been next to impossible to get her to do so on video. You see, its as if the camera distracts her from laughing. Tonight, however, we finally have some good footage of her laughing. I had to stand in front of her and play a spirited game of peek-a-boo, but we got it, nevertheless!

Connor's First Game Day...

... did not turn out so well. We dressed her in her little cheerleading uniform and got her all pumped up to cheer for her dawgs and they didn't pull through. It was sad but I think Connor had a fun time. Justin and Kristin brought Kaitlyn over and Kristin and I just had to take pictures of the two cuties. As much as we talk about the girls being best friends as they grow up, I hope they actually like each other. Caroline could not come because she was sick with a fever. We missed her and can't wait to see her!

The Tale of the Two Exersaucers...

My Aunt Kerri was so kind to let us borrow this exersaucer. I loved it! I smiled and laughed in it and also learned how to jump up and down in it. It looks kind of ratty because my other aunt, Aunt Cheryll, found it on the side of the road. But that didn't stop me! One man's junk is another man's gold!

Little did I know that there was another exersaucer that was coming my way that was comparable to SIX FLAGS! My mommy even said she wanted to get in it. I don't know what to do with myself in it. There are so many lights and sounds and I cannot wait until I am old enough to hang on the bar! Boy was I bored in the other one. I had no idea what I was missing! Take a look!

Gooo Mets!

Meme and Gangy got this hat for Connor and we just had to try it on her. Where Connor's room is at their house, the theme is antiques. So, they bought an antique hat to put on their antique coat rack.

Grandma got this Mets cheerleading outfit for all the girls to pass down. She has a picture of both Kendall and Juliette but was missing a picture of Connor in the uniform. So, I decided to conduct my own mini photo shoot. I am going to post what I took. Pay attention to the last picture. I think she was trying to tell Grandma that she doesn't really like the Mets too much. I could be wrong.

Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera for Juliette's birthday so I only have a few pics from that event. It was a fun time, as I previously posted. I hope you all are doing well! We sure are!

Connor is doing new things!

Connor is now almost 5 1/2 months old and we CANNOT believe it. I am so happy and sad at the same time. I don't even like to think of her getting older because I know that she will continue to grow and soon will a little girl, not a little baby. We went to Kerri's house this past Sunday to celebrate Juliette's 2nd birthday. We had so much fun and I know that Connor enjoyed all the attention from family (not that her mommy and daddy do not spend every second with her already)!

Kerri sent me home with a different exersaucer and boy is it better than the one we had. The old one, Cheryll found on the side of the road and was kind of bent and scratched a bit. There were also some pieces missing which was fine because Connor didn't know any better. Well! Kerri had me return the old one to her so she could let a friend borrow it and she sent me home with one that looks like it should belong at Six Flags. I told Justin that I was jealous and wanted to sit in the exersaucer. It has gadgets and pullies and also sings AND you can bounce as well. Connor is in heaven with the new aparatus and probably now realizes how bored she was with the old jalopy. I will post the pictures this week of the old one and then the new one. So funny!

Connor rolls over all the time now. This is just another example of how she is getting bigger and growing so much. I really don't want it to go too fast either. It seems like just the other day Kerri had Juliette and Renee had Reese. They are both two now! I think of Connor that old and it makes me give her a big hug because I definitely do not want to rush the process of her growing up.

She is doing so much better about sitting up. She can sit on her own but she does not and is not sturdy at all. She still leans forward a little which we expected. We are working with strengthening her back so hopefully she will be sitting on her own soon. We can't wait for this only because I bought a ducky that is a bath tub and I can't wait to see her face when she gets to sit in the tub and splash instead of laying down and splashing.

That is it for now! I will post pictures next time!
