Connor has tried a couple of new things the past two weeks. I am so sad because it seems as if she is doing so many new things lately. It used to be something new every two weeks. She is doing so much that it seems as if it is every other day something new comes along.
She can sit up while there is a close eye on her. As soon as you look the other way, she will fall to her little face. The first time I felt so bad and now we make sure that we are right behind her. She used to bend over so far to the floor that it wasn't even a tripod, it looked more like taco.

Now that she is sitting up, she can sit in the bath ring while taking a bath. She loves this because she gets to reach for her bath toys in the water. It is really funny watching her do this because her little hands move so slow that most of the time we wind up catching whatever toy she wants and giving it to her. She is getting better and it is helping her back and stomach muscles get stronger because the seat is really just there to stabilize her. It doesn't support her the whole time in the tub.

We have transfered her to her high chair. She loves it because she can now sit at the table with us and be a part of our conversation instead of having to look down on us while we eat. We are contemplating getting an actual high chair (which we didn't want to do because it takes up so much room). After looking at the picture below, you will know why. Oscar was there to make sure Connor got everything off of her hands. He is such a good big brother.

Today was her 6 month well check up and Dr. Loventhal gave us a few new things to do with her. First off, she can now have MOTRIN! Between her teeth and shots, I heard that Motrin was the best at taking away the pain. We will see! Anyway, Dr. Loventhal said that we can start giving her "puffs". This is to get her ready for table food ( another thing that I am NOT ready for). He said that they are basically a puff of air. And they are! There are 25 calories per serving and a serving is 90 puffs! We thought that was funny.
Thanks for checking in with us! We will continue to keep you all up to date with all the new things that are happening in our lives!
