Christmas Pajamas

We started a tradition this year.  Connor is going to open her Christmas pajamas on Christmas Eve so she can wake up in them on Christmas morning.  I got this idea from Beth and love it because I am all about traditions! Here are a couple of pictures of Connor opening up her pajamas.

She actually had two sets of Christmas pajamas and wore the ones from Grandma last weekend for the Fitts family Christmas.  The ones she is opening in the pictures are from her Meme.

This year we decided to go to Stone Mountain to the village for the Christmas festivities.  It was great!  We saw a 4-D version of the Polar Express, watched a parade and saw Santa, rode the train and frolicked in all the Christmas lights.  Here are a few pictures of Christmas with my family.  We will have pictures of Justin's family as soon as we get to Maggie Valley.  Enjoy!

We Love Visitors!

Connor's boyfriend, Grady, came over yesterday to bring her a present and allow the Mommies to socialize.  The last time we saw Grady he was 4 months old so it was nice to get an in-person update.  He is so cute and they played so nicely.  We can't wait to see you again Grady!  We hope Santa is good to you!

Our Baby Girl is 9 Months old!

Can you believe it?  Connor is 9 months old and I cannot figure out how she got to this age so fast!  I remember thinking that we had finally made it to 6 months when she did and I think the same thing again.  The past three months have gone by so fast.  I love it and hate it all at the same time.  I love it because every day it seems as if she is amazing us even more and I hate it because I don't want her to grow up.  In just a few months she will be a year old and I am not ready for that!

Connor has learned to wave.  It is soo cute!  I am going to try and get video of it today so stay tuned.  When she does it she waves with the palm of her hand turned toward her face so she is actually waving good bye to herself.  So funny!  This picture is when Connor was two months old.  How cute!

We will be celebrating Christmas with my parents today and can't wait.  I am going to keep out some of Connor's Christmas presents to take to Maggie Valley for Christmas with Justin's parents.

It's December in Our Town!

We went with our neighbor, Krystal, to take Christmas pictures.  They really came out so good.  The pictures that I was unhappy about were only because of me and my chin that I am STILL trying to get rid of.  The picture I posted is what we used for one of the pictures of our Christmas card.

It has been an extremely long week and I think this because we are about to get out for the Christmas break and everyone is so excited.  The kids are going crazy and so are the teachers!

On Saturday, we will go to my mom and dad's house.  We will stay there and celebrate Christmas with them.  While there, we will take Connor to her 9 month well check.  Let's hope that the little girl is well.  We haven't been to a well checkup and actually not have been sick the last two times we have gone.  It will be a nice change for the Christmas holidays.

We are going to be spending Christmas Day with Justin's family in Maggie Valley. Can't wait for the mountains!  Every other year we do this and also go to Mass in Waynesville on Christmas Eve.  That is the city right outside of Maggie Valley that has a pretty big Catholic church. We will attempt to take Connor this year, as long as the weather cooperates.

We can't wait to be with family.  This time of year is so special.  We will be gone from home a little while but it is all well worth it.  Over the break, I will continue to update the blog but with more pictures because as all of you know, it is Connor's 1st Christmas!  Enjoy the rest of your week!

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall...

I was just talking to Monica this weekend about how much fun it is to watch Connor learn something new. I just love being witness to her realizing things around her and how they work. This video shows this and then at the end there is a little surprise!
