I have been getting workbooks for Connor. They are great and she loves doing them (one to two pages at a time)! We have already finished color/shape recognition and are moving on to number/letter recognition. I also help her with a workbook that concentrates on mathematical concepts such as sequencing, matching and pairing. I just love these workbooks because they help me to reinforce what she is learning in school and if they haven't been working on a certain letter or number it gives her a heads up on what is to come.
Like I said, we only do one or two pages at a time. I don't want her to feel forced to do them; I want her to continue to enjoy them. I make it fun and it seems to work so I will continue this until something better comes up.
